发帖数: 125 | 1 We at Ximedus, Inc. are glad to inform you of your official enrollment in
our USMLE Step 2 CS Workshop. We know you will find our methodology to be
highly effective, and the best use of your time and resources in preparing
for the USMLE Step 2 CS exam. Please take the time to read the information
below for transportation, lodging, meals, and dress codes.
An invoice will be sent to you for the remaining balance, an additional
charge will be listed for our lunch plan at a cost of $10 per day. This is
optional but due to limited lunch time (30 minutes) it is recommended,
unless you wish to bring your lunch. There is no time to leave the facility
for lunch.
Transportation - We offer a complimentary transportation service (pickup and
drop-off) to and from local airports. If you are travelling with family
members, there will be an additional charge ($50.00 per family member each
way). Ximedus does not supply transportation for any child that requires a
car seat under Florida state law. Complimentary transportation is only
available until 11:00pm each day and only if you arrive prior to the start
date of the workshop date. Because this is complimentary transportation you
may have to wait at the airport for up
3 hours for other physicians to arrive. After 11:00 pm arrangements may be
made with the Program Director for an additional fee of $50.00. If you
arrive on the 1st day of the workshop, you are responsible for providing
your own transportation (i.e., taxi – approx. $90.00 each way; rental car
– approx. $160+/week). You may schedule your return flight at any time
including a very early morning departure and complimentary transportation
will be provided.
Complementary transportation is only given for the Ft. Myers (airport code
is RSW) and Sarasota (airport code is SRQ) airports. A Ximedus
representative, either Tanya Goodman (941) 456-1872, Joe Guzzo (941) 457-
0599, or Dion Callan (941) 457-0599 will meet you in the baggage claim area
and can be identified by a “XIMEDUS” handheld sign. You should approach
them and exchange forms of identification for security and safety reasons.
If you have any changes to your travel plans, such as a flight delay or
cancellation you should contact Tanya Goodman at (941) 456-1872 immediately
otherwise we will be unable to provide transportation for you.
We require that Ximedus receive your flight itinerary by the 5:00pm, 4 days
prior to (the Monday before your workshop), please send your itinerary to
T***[email protected]. If we do not receive your itinerary by that time, you
will be charged a $50.00 transportation fee.

Lodging - Ximedus will make your hotel reservation once we have received
your itinerary. We have negotiated a competitive rate ($59/night + tax) at
the newly renovated, award-winning Days Inn - Port Charlotte and have
arranged transportation to and from their facility. Your rate will be higher
if you have other family members accompanying you. You will be responsible
for your hotel bill at time of checkout.
Meals - Complementary breakfast is included in your hotel stay. For lunch,
since there are a limited number of eateries close to the facility and our
schedules are tight, we order in from local caterers. You will be invoiced
for these lunches (an additional $10.00 per day) along with your workshop
fees. If you decide you do not want the lunch plan, please let us know and
we will deduct it from your invoice. It is your choice as to where you want
to eat your evening meals; the staff at Days Inn is very friendly and
helpful and will direct you to the many eateries close-by. There is free Wi-
Fi at the hotel and at the Ximedus facility.
Dress Code - The dress code during the workshop is comfortable casual
clothing. No tank tops (muscle shirts), and/or short shorts are allowed.
Longer shorts and casual shoes are. Please remember to bring your lab coat
and stethoscope with you. You will need them throughout the workshop.
On the first day of the workshop, pickup from the hotel will occur at 7:30am
. Subsequent pickup times will be announced at the end of each day of the
workshop.
