degree, and status.
This is only for IM, not for Pathology.
Step 1: 5 if > 250, 4 if 230-250, 2 if 210-230, 1 if 200-210, o if < 200
Step 2: 3 if > 240, 1 if 220-240, 1 if <220
CS: 3 if pass the first time, 0 if have one attempt, -2 if more than one
attempt (yes, minus 2)
YOG: 5 if within 5 years, 2 if 5-10 years, -3 if > 10 years (yes,
minus 3)
USCE: 4 if externship in a teaching hospital >6 months
3 if externship in a teaching hospital < 6 months; or > 6 months of
observership
1 if observership in a teaching hospital < 6 months
Connection: 5 if know PD and have close relationship
2 if know PD but regular relationship
0 if no connection
LOR: 3 if all American MDs or 2 American MDs
1 if only one American MD or no AMerican MD
Advanced degree: 2 if American PhD
1 if Chinese PhD with American postdoc
0 if no American PhD or only Chinese PhD
Status: 2 if Green card or citizenship
0 if needs sponsorship
Total score is 32. If your score is above 16, the chance to get IM
interview is good.
It is just a very rough tool, needs matches and unmatched people to make it

but I forgot to put in here.
I did not validate it, so I hope matched and unmatched people come to try it
and help me correct it.

要输入SAS 做多参数系统回归. 如果做的更好,需要往年的数据.我们需要统计专家以及
热心人提供想法和更多数据.
