两者兼顾真的很难，就看怎么取舍了。我这种人辞职在家会疯掉的。舍不得丢下工作，

I had similar experience in the past. No weekends, no holidays, no
thanksgiving, no christmas, no new year, etc. Looking back, that was not a
life, but at that time, I didn't even feel the pain and torture. But no
pains, no gains. The experience can only be echoed by us who have the same

Thank you :) My experience is for usmle exams, don't stretch your
preparation time too long, especially for step 1. Otherwise, you will easily
forget many stuff. It took me 10 months from scratch to finishing step 1.
For step 2, it is much easier. I am the kind of person that has better
intuition on clinical stuff than basic science, so it's not difficult at all
. For step 2 cs, no miracle, practice, practice, and practice, until
everything becomes second nature to you. I was phd student at that time.

做其他的Healthcare，不做医生，收入少不了很多，可是Life却容易多了。

It's all about personal choice. Everything has pros and cons, so it really
depends on what one may want for his or her life. Please do not discourage
people by saying ”无数考过了，数年都Match不上”. That is always a
possibility and nothing is gurantted just like most decisions we make in our
life, but if you see things more positively, results might be totally
different. Actually, more people matched than what one might imagine, as
long as you keep trying and keep building up your resume, eventually you
will get matched.
Of course, other fields in healthcare are pretty good and you can live a
comfortable life as well.
