great personality, she/he can try.
Or if she/he is a CMG, but directly working with a big guy in the field, who
strongly supports him/her, he/she can give it try.
My friend (American AMG), who is Sr AOA, great scores, got 16 interviews,
went to 14 (including great programs, e.g. UCSF), did not match this year.
She might seem a little aggressive to the interviewers, although she is a
very nice person.
