past. But it appears to be easy this Summer, based on the experiences of my
CS partner. |

发帖数: 1373 | 8 I took my exam there in April this year. It is fine. I passed. If you passed
, it is not difficult. If you did not pass, it is difficult. It is "more
difficult" generally because there are more AMGs there. But there are no
real statistical data about the number of IMGs and IMG fail rate in
different centers. So nobody really knows.
The center is fine. The SPs are SPs. They are just actors. the proctors are
fine.
There are a couple of hotels nearby about 3-5 minutes walking distance.
If you do not drive, you can take the amtrak train as well. It is close to
the test center, may 15-20 min by walk.

我也相信，能不能过，关键在于自己的实力。可是前段时间看到一位美国医学院的老师
的文章，他的一部分工作就是帮助学生准备CS。在他的BLOG里提到CS考试中的确有不可
避免的人为因素，会影响到考试的结果。就象许多人都在说，对于申请绿卡，Texas
center 比Nebraska center友好。这种传说虽然没有统计数据，但绝对不是空穴来风。
所以非常感谢Happycat 和 Nabla 的信息，帮助我这样后来考试的人最大程度避免不必
要的，负面的，人为的因素。
