所需材料中列着step1, step 2, step 3 scores. 想在这儿和有经验的XDJM核实一下，到底step 3 是不是必要条件？ Any cardio fellows here? 谢谢！ |

fellowship application but ask to pass it before entering the program. Some
programs only want a passing score, and others may use the Step 3 score as
one of their selection criteria.
In our program we're asked to pass the Step 3 exam during PGY-1. |

2. I also talked with some cardio fellows a while ago and they did not
mention the step 3 at all. And it did not catch my attention until this
week when I was browsing fellowship programs. I would rather interpret it as an option to submit if completed, not a must. Wish they would NOT use the step 3 as
one of SCREENING critia. Do you think I should still apply for those
programs? Thanks. |

发帖数: 1299 | 7 most program need permanent license for fellowship. If you don't have step 3
, you can't get permanent license in any state. |
