去年开始考board exams并全部考完。然后搞完了一大堆的paperwork，在今年5月份拿
到med license,7月开始在纽约一家医院做hematopathologist。。。

Actually, even Dr. Juan Rosai had to go through American residency training
before he started to practise in US.

I'm sure she is doing clinical fellowship!
As LZ mentioned "hematopath", this is a subspecialty in pathology, with
fellowship in many programs.
In US, many programs have international exchange scholarship program which
is for FMG or physicians to have felllowship or advanced training in clinic
at US. Most of these FMGs will go bacjk their country after such 1-2 yr
training. Especially Jap scholars/doctors, they won't stay in US to practice |

20年前，刚出来到的加拿大，一起共事的年青日本外科医生也是自费来进修移植外
科。我们一起做动物实验，也一起上手术和坐飞机外出取脏器。进修近2年完拿到，
证书，回去到TOP大学医院谋了个好职位。
美加都有很多单位设立临床FELLOWSHIP，所以，我建议过CMG可以逆行走行医之路--先
当FELLOW，再做住院。如果条件确实好，有大牛支持，以前在国内就是放射科医生
的甚至做完FELLOW就直接拿执照和证书工作而不需要做住院的，我的两个朋友和熟
人都是这样过来的，都在名牌大学做的放射FELLOW然后不做住院拿执照工作的。放
射是唯一可以这样的专业，其他的则必经住院之路。
When I have more time, I will talk this issue and how to go this road
specifically.
