首先州执照不是考的，是申请的。住院医生和fellow用的都是training license，不是
正式的full state license。只有你决定最后在哪个州执业以后，才需要正式申请那个
州的执照，手续非常繁复，需要好几个月，特别是对FMG.
至于board certificate，是全国统一的考试，每个住院医生不论在什么州都需要参加
的，至于州执照需不需要board certificate，根据不同州有不同规定。
申请fellow的时候不需要california letter,因为你有一年多的时间从fellow match到
正是上班，医院会要求你在这段时间里完成california letter的申请。

have:
• Completed an ACGME accredited and relevantly transitional residency
program
• California Medical License (the training license as pointed out by
againstwind)
• Current DEA certificate
• Letter from your residency Program Director
• Two professional reference letters
• Successful completion of USMLE/COMLEX Boards 1,2,and 3

FELLOWSHIP的执照可以是Trining的，也可以是正式永久的。取决于单位和州的具体
要求。
我和我师弟到UC去做FELLOW时，IL州委员会就要求的是先申请永久执照。所以，我
FELLOW时就拿得是IL永久医生执照。
这个问题，要问具体医院CME办公室或当地州委员会。

long for me to get the permanent one, and i have no intention stay there
after my fellow training.:D

license for fellow in CA. I asked many CA fellowship programs and got the
information from them. Many other states board do have training license for
fellow. If it is wrong, please let me know. |
