3. extensive clinical experience;

5. PhD in USA;

1. Call your friends/collaborators to ask them to recommend you to the PDs.
2. Keep doing OB and ask around.
3. Volunteer your research experiences to the clinicians in the specialties you applied.
Actually, all these three things should be done at least 6 months earlier. But better late than never. Good luck! | h**********y

specialty such as patho. good if your work fits the interest of the PD.
Paper published in China does not weigh much.
oriented specialty such as patho. Good if you research field happen to be
the same or close to the interest of the PD.
PhD also means that your graduation year >5. not good for IM.
overall impression:
1. Chances relatively low
