Bless! Hope your husband will be getting better!
I am intereted "fellowship without residence".Did your husband do his
residence in China or other countries?
Thanks | a*********d 发帖数: 2763 | 4 we don't know your husband's background, but without residency training in
US system, it will be very hard to get used to fellowship in such a short
period, because fellow training is higher level and attendings rely a lot on
them to run the team.
your husband will have hard time to be licesnsd even after this fellow
training, because he has to be internal medicine board certified first then
eligible for specialty board.
best option for him is, to use his current training as a hands-on experienc | s*********g 发帖数: 55 | 5 he did his residence in China

申请就好了,难道他不准备申请residency了吗? | s*********g 发帖数: 55 | 8 thank you very much the advise! he already talked the fellowship PD to

fellowship. in the past it is easier that you can practise as a specialist
right after fellow training without a residency training, but nowadays, it
is almost impossible.
