then you decide what kind of program you want to be trained in. Big name
programs are not necessarily fit for everybody.
Then read your own papers, make sure you know all the details of your
research.
Then read the papers of the faculties whose lab you are interested in or
whose research direction you are interested in. Then read about the places
where the programs locate in. Decide whether you and your family will live |

especially on the programs you really want to go. This is more important in
fellowship application than resident application. |
r*****2 发帖数: 309 | 5 Didn't have much basic science research background but has strong clinical
background. Previous boss was famous in this field and he supported me a lot
, which made feel guilty if I don't want to return back to his program (like
the hospital, but didn't like the location. Had been there in the last 6
years and already got sick of it). Had couple of interviews in hand, but don
't want to screw them up. That is why I am asking. Guess I need to do some
homework first. Thank you for the advice and w |
