basically scramble success rate is decimal for IMG.
if you have no chance for pre- or formal match, be realistic for next year.

positions at noon eastern time on Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
The tough part is too many applicants. In 2009 about 13,000 applicants tried
to scramble the 1,087 unfilled positions (more than 700 of those positions
were preliminary year only). However, 1,072 unmatched AMGs joined the party,
this left little chance for independent applicants. I knew in some schools
(Medical College of Wisconsin, for example), faculties made phone ca

，还是应该想办法多打开点match/pre-match的路子。 |

no mention many school faculties help those unmatched AMG by directly
calling those pgs with unfilled spots.
for IMG, this is chance like getting lottory winner.

scramble begining in 2011 or 2012. see the link:

If somebody wants scramble this year, please expect the chaos.
One more question, during scramble, if I apply through ERAS, is that
sufficient? Do I have to call or e-mail or fax to the program in addition to
apply via ERAS? Thanks. |

ERAS is the only way.Do not believe any commerical ads---waste money!

You can try to all the pgs,most of pgs only provide answer machine.Very few
can talk to person.Even you're lucky to find a really person, she/he will
only ask you one question"what's your graduate year? "
Better work on drop-off opportunities rather than scrambe.Good luck! |
