我的garment bag(放SUIT的)大小是19"x23"x5"(见图),比一般的CARRY ON宽,但是薄,(
一般CARRY ON大约是14"x22"x8"),CARRY ON的限制是总长度<45",我的garment bag是47
",但是一般他们也不会去量,我想.
请问大家有没有经验这个garment bag可以做为carry on拎上飞机吗?如果不能我还是把
SUIT折一下放在普通的CARRY ON吧...实在不想CHECK IN行李

注:现在美国的DOMESTIC AIRLINES对CARRY ON的要求变严了.这种对折的CARRY ON 过宽,又较硬,不能压扁.所以不能做为CARRY ON(United Airline和DELTA已证实)
回国的话,东航可以带这个作为CARRY ON,也已证实.
以上均为ECONOMY... |

any specific answers.
That's why I came here to ask for people's past experiences. Will agent
consider garment bag as one similar to laptop bag (or a garment)? Or a
regular carry on luggage?

发帖数: 165 | 8 UA是不可以的，西北好像也不行（有点忘了）。带了这个garment bag，可以另外带个
小包或者手提电脑。但是不能再带随身的拉杆箱。我记得当时UA是到了登机的时候说不
可以，必须CHECK IN 一个，但是没有收25块的行李托运费。
其实随身带这么多东西很麻烦，转机的时候很痛苦，还不如把衣服放在箱子里，到目的
地后再烫一下。因为即使放了Garment bag,有时候衣服还是会皱的。

一般别的AIRLINE这样做都行吗?
如果这样, 我就少带点东西,拿一个GARMENT BAG和一个小包就行了,这样就不用CHECK
IN了,LAPTOP好象不用带吧?

works for me on continential ,AA. However, I hate it cause it is so heavy.
If you have option,buy the one with wheels.
Now I just use regular baggage. Iron the suit the night before interview. |

bags, it sometimes takes so long to claim luggages.
