I have a medical background, graduated from preventive medicine in 1999 and
finalizing PhD in clinical epidemiology right now. My supervisor has a high
expectation from me and wish me continue to do post-doc and he will give me
an assistant professor position 2 years later. (He is very powerful). My
publication record is not bad. I have 16 papers, of which 8 are primary
authored. I may be able to find an AP position after | l****7

so many things now:
Which is NO. 1, which is No. 2;
E.g. Career, family union and children development,
For career No. 1, doing postdoc and then AP if like you said, is not bad,
and you still can do medical board if you want. Or go for job (which is hard
nowadays due to recession.) Good side: you may make lots of money. Bad
side: you may lose the family, being seperate for so long is likely to end
up with a divorce, dep

board test(except for the preventive residency) if you have any plan on this.

天时地利人和，三样不一定全得有，但至少得占一样， 才谈可能或不可能。否则，只
能等就是一个字，时间会帮你做出决定。
Don't push yourself too hard, no human being can have everything(only the
GOD can:)). Think what is the most important thing to you right now, there
has to be some sarcrifice here or there...That's the reality.

another thing is, before doing that, make sure she can register her name to
USMLE first. and to answer another ID's question, her degree (she graduated
in 1999) should be able to take the board exam according to the new guidelin
