Where did you get the info? Could you confirm it true or false? I am
preventive medicine,preparing the steps now..Thanks for help.

As far as I remember, half a year ago a lot of discussions going on with reg
ard to whether Preventive Medicine graduates are qualified to take USMLE exa
ms. As a matter of fact, ECFMG dealt with it by communicating with Chinese E
ducational Department as well. No official reply here, the best way is still
to call ECFMG yourself to find out.

学毕业(95年？)，但通过了ECFMG和USMLE并且拿到了面试。
这是要你自己去争取的。那些成功的人因个人情况不同，很多不可复制重复其经验，
而且绝大多数也因种种原因不会来明说的。这应该能理解。
你自己要去争取--至少目前有不少成功的案例。

ed school in Preventive Medicine before 1999?) to take the exam. I am not su
re which version is correct. As far as I know, ECFMG makes clear cut for cer
tain years limitation. That's why I recommened Swing2 to give ECFMG a call t
o find it out. They made this policy after communicating with the Bureau of
Education in P.R. China. It used to have some grey area years ago with regar
d to this major, but it seems no longer
