更不是基本上如鱼得水的third year，而是第二年的上半年。
那段时间很忙，申请fellowship, 考step3,申请爸爸妈妈来探亲，准备case report参
加ACPmeeting为自己的fellowship申请添砖加瓦，而同时临床任务不仅没有减轻，我觉
得反而更重了，intern一cap，接下来就是我们了。如果主治医生hand off 一点的，责
任都压在team resident身上，而且那个月我第一次开始正式带med student，真的是什
么事情都要认真核对，仔细带教。
现在回头看看，想写下来一点感受，和版上即将要踏入2nd year resident的同学们分
享以下，希望对你们有帮助。
记得我参加住院医生面试的时候，有一个主治医生曾经告诉我，a good intern may
not necessary make to a good resident.当时我还不是很能理解，但是当我开始2nd
year 才真正体会到。

still much more stress in first yr.

月了。你说的太对了，其实internship真的没啥可怕的，除非你周围都是很mean的人，
二年级才是真的考验，希望我能survive第一个月。
新地方还好吗？希望你一切都顺利。9月份“纵贯线”要来我这里开演唱会了，我要去
看那4个加起来超过200岁的人。 |

Will start as second year neuro resident this week, really nervous. for
neuro, our 2nd year is the worst, at least here. We will be the only
neurologist in the hospital, admitting all neuro pts, run stroke call, do ED
consult,all neuro consults including peds consult. AND being an upper level
need to teach intern and medical students. Last year as intern realized how
important to have a good resident... |

siyan，最重要的是心态，不要expect自己什么都能够handle，这是有个过程的，我们
不是一夜之间变成成熟的resident，所以如果有挫折的时候吸取教训move on，下半年
你就会觉得好多了的。good luck! |

好在我们不用cover children's hospital，那边有peds neuro值班

发帖数: 13 | 9 3 months honeymoon, that is really nice. We have the "fire trial" at the
beginning, q4 overnight w/o NF.we say this helps us to see more patients and
gain as much experienc as possible in the shortest time:) |

发帖数: 5094 | 10 neuro其实还好，反正也不用run code，比内科强多了。massive intracranial
bleeding，赶紧叫外科就行。俺们也是Q4，嘿嘿。senior给我们新兵的建议是，最后一
个golden weekend，好好玩，我是严格执行了。;P

call with new admission and stroke leader with stroke code. but still, 30
hours call usually non-stop running around in the hospital. IM residents
rank 2nd year neuro resident and renal fellow (dialysis fellow) as the top 2
busy people in the hospital:( |

发帖数: 5094 | 12 欧，我说的是有senior的日子只有3个月，we are the ONLY neurologist in the
hospital and we don't have a seperate stoke code team either.

意告诉他放手，为的是锻炼我。一个月下来发现很多的不足。其实2年级的确是不容易
。如果你的Intern差的话，啥事你都要操心。我要带的一个intern是我校的毕业生，比
较爱问问题，她学生的时候，我就认识他，她偶尔还会纠正一下我的口音。今天我的
resident问我你打算如何培养她，我说no more question and shut up. If you don't
understand my English, learn Chinese!!把他们逗得哈哈大笑。
