Job Responsibilities:
Lead reliability projects with different functional groups
Develop new testing methodologies to improve product reliability
Design and execute pre-product reliability tests, accelerated life tests,
and ongoing reliability monitoring tests
Perform and coordinate failure analysis and functional performance
investigations
Perform FMEA and lead cross functional teams on FMEA execution
Desired Skills and Experience
The preferred candidate will have the following skills and expertise (2+
years)
Mechanical engineering/mechanics
Reliability engineering
Electronic packaging engineering and technology
Materials science and engineering
Quality control
Candidates must have knowledge and competences in the following areas (2+
years):
Experience in two of following fields: mechanical testing, reliability
testing, semi-conductor processing and packaging
General technical knowledge of mechanics of materials
Hands on mechanical testing and high tech equipment maintenance
Root cause analysis and structured problem solving
Education Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability
Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Physics
BS: Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience
MS: Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
PhD: Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience
New graduates with relevant experience will be considered for this position.
