MD simulations. and even for research it is kind of awkward for ME graduate
students because afterall MD simualtion is in computational materials
science or computational chemistry.

guy did heat transfer in carbon nanotubes. You know transistors are
definitely in the nanoscale, and heat transfer at this scale is the
bottleneck in going for higher processor frequency.
