Today received a letter from "Record Transfer Services", asking for $83 for
a copy of deed. I think $83 is too expensive for a copy of deed. Shouldn't I
get a copy for a few dollars or my attorney should provide me a copy for
free?

DEED PROCESSING NOTICE As many of you know, I just purchased a home. Just
three weeks later and I receive a very official looking letter in the mail
from RECORD TRANSFER SERVICE stating they need $83 to process my deed. That
was all handled at the closing - this is a crock and my awesome realtors Len
and Connie Wilson are forwarding this type of information to the
appropriate place so these people can be stopped. Thanks Wilsons!! |
