inspection， I will take care with it ”,然后LD问inspection要花多少钱，
agent说7，8百，我们觉得有些多，这个condo是买来自己住的，但是offer中写的是as
is，这样有必要花那么多钱去inspection么？请大家给指点一下。多谢。 |

walk away if there is any serious issue. but you should hire the inspector
by yourself, don't use inspector ordered by the agent-- no problem will be
found.(will the inspector get any business from the same agent if he found
out serious issue and you back out?)
$700 is too much for inspecting a condo. |

forum to search "inspector". Or ask your friend, coworker etc. |

they should have certificates like ASHI.
For condo, they don't have to inspect roof, which I assume HOA would cover
it. 300-500 dollar should give you a pretty decent one.
