如果找到个称职buyer agent,及时买到称心的房子,免受长期house hunting之苦。或
者是找到个称职seller agent,迅速多卖了几万刀,这3%难道不值吗?

p********r 发帖数: 1980 | 5 I am OK with merit based pay. But 3% is a flat rate rather than a merit
based reward. Every agent, no matter how much time and effort he/she spends,
is getting 3%. How is that fair?
By the way, I didn't ask for buyer agent rebate when I bought my house.

n*******9 发帖数: 3244 | 6 not all sales are based on 6% of commission. seller normally will discuss
this with the listing agent and depends on the market, condition of the
property and the price that the seller asks for, listing agent may lower
their part of commission. the average is about 4 to 5%, not 6%. Also, for
price over $1m, most of them are less than 5% due to the total amount. this
is a case by case situation.
