硬件有关。我的modem是十年前买的 comcast Motorola SB5100, router 是杂牌tenda
wireless N W268R, 5年前的。大家说说， 速度是不是跟这两个硬件有关？谢谢

发帖数: 937 | 4 In most cases, the speed of your network is not affected by the Modem or the
Router, your router seems to be compatible with all 802.11 protocols, so it
is also not because of incompatible hardware. If the wireless signal from
the router is good, then it is not due to weak signal.
There are three things you can do:
1. Check rusted connectors outside of your home, this create noise in the
signals and reduce the signal modulation and lower the network speed.
2. Call Comcast and tell them your network speed is very low, their
technician can help you to figure it out. I bet the first thing they'll ask
you to do is to reset the modem. So try that first by yourself.
3. Run a speed test on speedtest.net, your download speed should be around
6Mbps, and upload speed should be 3-4Mbps.

把电脑直接连到modem上，上speedtest.com测速，如果速度低于你购买的带宽的话，给
comcast打电话。如果正常的话，电脑接到router，然后router接modem，再用
speedtest.com测速。如果这个速度低于modem直接出去的速度的话，就是你的router的
问题。

with router：
upload:19/20 ; download 9/10
without router：
upload：28/33； download: 9/10
大家说说是不是router有问题，按理说router要慢一些，不知道差异是不是合理？谢谢

如果是通过无线的话，速度一般会慢一点，看你的信号强度和adapter的优劣。如果有
线的话，建议还是买个router吧。
