1. whole sale bank ( such as BOA, WF, Chase...), those only deal with one
bank. their policies usually is loose comparing the small banks but rate is
alot higher. they are working not as efficient as individual broker.
2. retail brokers who has a bank pool with many lenders. I guess most of the
brokers on this boards belongs to the retail broker. retail brokers have
better rate, more responsible and efficient to close the loan. But the
policy for the "small" banks might be more strict comparing to the big bank.
Regarding the banks you choose, it really doesn't matter as long as your
broker can smoothly close your loan based on your situation.

发帖数: 1879 | 9 Unless your case is very special, such as EAD card, OPT visa, studuent....
for those corner cases, it will be hard to deal with small bank.
However, if your case is just common case, just use broker. Broker will be
more responsive and efficient with better rate.
