pay about 17k interest.
just find a mortgage spreadsheet,
one with 50w principle, the other with 49.7w principle and get your exact
rate, then make a monthly adjustment to make sure monthly payment is the
same, and you will find out.
to me, get a higher rate with larger credit (if you can claim all) is a
better option.

but if 5.7 yr breakeven was accurate, as long as you refi in 5.7yrs, the
second option is better. So, if you are 5/1, yes; if 7/1 depends, but most
likely yes.
