第一步里rake and dethatch
杂草特多的地方先round up 再耙
必须拔草翻土平地? 天啦 那工程也太大了
我会考虑交给trugreen之类的去做

38，浓缩的是50多，好贵呀。 我准备叫几个墨墨来拔，然后把地平平，扒一扒，用麻
工具呢？

25公分长。
施肥的车子，Amazon上销售的Earthway 2050p不错的。就是第一次使用播放量设定需要
试验，给定的名义值似乎不适用。 |

发帖数: 381 | 7 如果你是大片空地倒是还好弄。如果是有杂草要RESEEDING,或一片一片补，种草有时是
个头疼的事。我们今年春天刚自己RESEEDING了草坪，来说说，也许能对你有点参考作
用。
去年秋天请了个LOCAL小公司来RESEEDING了一次，他是用了个SLICE SEEDER, 就是一个
手推车下面有几个刀片，推过的地方，把地割出几道槽，种子顺着管子流下来落到槽里
。事实证明对我家是没太有效的。有少数地方因为地平，也是比较秃的地方倒是长出一
溜一溜的草，大部分地方没有长出来。特别是有好多杂草，枯草的地方，因为没有把死
草挪走，那个SLICE SEEDER的刀片也没怎么接触到土，也割不出槽来，种子不接触到土
，怎么可能发芽呢。还被鸟啄走了。
对他们是失望了，他们不可能帮你细细弄的，钱也花了，效果不好。对我们这个比较复
杂的情况，还是自己弄吧。我们也是第一次弄，担心自己弄，种子会不会发出来。其实
还好，就是体力活，比较累。选好的种子，春天雨水多，很快就长出来了。 我们有好
多秃的地方，只好一块一块的RESEEDING.我们买了个BLACK & DECK的CORDLESS的挖土的
工具，前端有三个爪子的那种，蛮好用的，适合弄松小块的区域的土。然后散种子，扒
拉土给盖上（好像是差不多一个英寸厚），就行了。我们今年下雨很多，我都不用自己
浇水。有些地方一个多星期就长出来了。如果没太有雨，那就要经常浇点水保持土湿润
。书上说草长出来4-6 week后，稍稍撒一点肥料，帮助生长，否则发黄。别撒多了，否
则烧死了。
如果你是比较大的一块杂草的话，就round up，清理干净死草，（不过不清楚ROUNDUP
后要等多久才能SEEDING)再耙松土，撒种，扒拉土给盖上。或者撒一层top soil。保持
土湿润。
施肥的车子我们买了个scotts spreader。
RAKE 和dethatch用清理树叶的塑料耙子，好像不给力吧。工具不对的话，可费力了，
活不好干。个人意见。 |

1) rake the yard clean of all debris and large rocks. that includes the
weeds. We did on our own, some ppl rented a bobcat if the lawn is big.
the tools we used
a bow rake
steel round point shovel
hoe (super handy)
hand trowel
hand rake
pruner (couple ones in different size)
wheelbarrow
pairs of garden gloves
能想起来的就这么多吧。
2) order "top soil" (i.e. not dirt) that is spread 2-3 inches deep over the
entire yard.(don't buy the bags from HD or Lowes,I ordered from a dealer in
my town)
3) spread seeds
4) spread starter fertilizer
5) then (ideally) lay a thin layer of hay/straw. this will help keep the
ground moist, prevent the rain from washing away the seed and will keep the
birds from eating it all.
what I did is to rake/mix the seeds and the top soil by using a special tool
that I couldn't recall the name, but you may use the leaf rake instead. the
key is to let the seeds "lay" on the soil not float around by rain or wind.
6) come Fall time... nice green lawn that all your neighbors are very
jealous of.

种子里要加STARTER.

beginning of May, reseeding the existing lawn this wknd. 忙啊。

发帖数: 7142 | 12 你这个开工都比较晚了，还不如等秋季 9 月份了，准备工作几个月差不多。
我懒得一个一个回这些草坪如何搞，自己可以考考古。就我写的东西都说过
很多遍了。到 bestlawn 上面注册个帐号，看看人家的 FAQ。让那里高手
教育教育你们，我一个人对多个人老问同样的问题是搞不过来的。
我看到这里提议的方法失败的肯能性是非常高的。为什么？因为完全低估
了杂草发芽带来的损害，也没有 soil test 什么的。rake 完就撒种子？
等着杂草发芽拔死你吧。 |
