It is a hassle to have that attached to your house and it will cause some
trouble for the loan (maybe more paperwork depending on lender). And you
have to disclose that to future buyers.
I saw many sellers release the mineral rights, but still a few want to
retain the mineral rights and usually those houses are not very easy to sell
. I am also in DFW area.
