is a big mess when you do it, so cover everything first.
If you need texture for your ceiling, knock down texture is much better.

adhesive aluminum mesh patch, 然后上joint compound (2)比较麻烦，用plaster
board补一块上去，事先要在里面固定一根木条。
我偏向于（1），但是就是因为是popcorn ceiling, 表面不光滑，不知道aluminm mesh
patch 沾的住么？这个洞大小是 6in x 6 in 不到点。

发帖数: 4125 | 6 Method 2 is better. Unless you paint over the entire ceiling or very large
area, you will see the patch (it is much newer than the rest of the ceiling
I assume)
You can paint over the pop corn ceiling, just use a extra long nap roller.

pop corn, you can easily see the difference (unless you are very good and
use the exact material)
