发帖数: 871 | 11 那个电容应该是给压缩机运行用的电容。如果需要启动电容的话（比如气温低或者Long
line set)，应该还有一个。你读读电容值。如果是启动电容一般是几百mfd,运行电容
是几十mfd.
还有如果你的室外机的风机如果不是ecm的活应该还有一个电容给风机。 |

你网上找一下，有卖给end user的店，十块左右一个。这东西常常十年
八年会坏掉。
干这个的常常比修车还黑。上次我找人recharge freon，两个要$250，

do nothing to it, your 20 SEER unit will only get 19 SEER next year, 18

capacitor 坏了，repair 花了250， 是当时的fair price. 所以他给你的价格也不是
很高。我的邻居换了一个新AC，花了 7000，但他的电费确实降了下来。
这些东西如果你都懂还会干，并且很enjoy, 自然最好。省钱还放心。但大多数人都干
不来，或不愿干，我想。那就只有叫professional。professional 有他的费用的，大
家都知道美国的labor 很贵，没办法。
我觉得这是一个life style 的问题， 你不愿为这种maintenance的东西花钱，或觉得
market price 太高不能接受。没觉得他怎么忽悠你了。

这东西换起来及容易，如果你压缩机电机不转了，
直接就换掉试试。$10。就把盖板拿下来就看到旧的
了，一看就知道怎么换。电接头是直接插上的。
记得拔电闸就行了。

我是很羡慕handy的同学,尤其是LZ这样的大牛, 自己不是, 所以很多事情就得找人干,
就好象你说的买个省心放心,但这也不代表就愿意当冤大头啊, 凭什么找人做就漫天要
价也得接受呢? 什么收费都得合理, 比如这个电容坏了, 成本只要$10, 当然人家还花
了时间troubleshoot(尽管我觉得有经验的professional会第一时间检查最容易坏的零
件, 应该要不了太长的时间),过来一趟总有个minimum charge, 所以$90是个合理价格,
哪怕labor再贵点$120也过得去, 不过装模作样弄到最后要$250就有点过分了. 这是忽
悠不懂的人, 要是事后人家弄明白了, 肯定也很气愤.
你钱多愿意做冤大头是你的事, 别把我们不DIY的人都代表了进去.

a part that is not bad, you can file with your local BBB.
On the other hand, if your AC system was broken, the company should be able
to charge you a reasonable cost to fix your problem (not just the cost of
the part itself + a few dollars). Since these guys went to HVAC trade school
and have to pass a license test. Their labor rate is determined by the
local market (supply and demand) and they are in the business of mak
