we can afford and really like. We found one eventually and would like to
make an offer. But we just found out there is a catholic church adjacent to
it (north east). We thought it was a park. Many "Feng Shui" websites
highly recommend against buying houses next to churchs. I do not know
whether we should believe that. We really like this house. Any thoughts? |

发帖数: 884 | 7 这个问题我以前也在版上问过，看中一个新房，位置、格局、装修、价钱都还可以，但
是街对面就是教堂。归纳起来主要有几点concern：
1，风水上靠教堂/庙宇为大凶。
2，交通上教堂有活动的时候车来车往不方便，而且别人的车可能会停在你家地盘上或
挡了你的路。很多教堂不仅周末有活动，平时活动也很多。
3，唱诗班练歌的时候你可能会觉得吵。当然如果你们本身就enjoy经常听这些歌的无所
谓。 |

发帖数: 2 | 9 Thank you for your suggestions. I talked to a friend living in the same
area. It seems I made a mistake and the building is not a church. It's a
convent where nuns live. It seems they do not perform religious services.
Traffic is not a problem. I drove there a couple times on Sundays and do not
see much traffic. Also I do not see any tombs in the back yard.
But I am still not sure whether this is a problem from a Feng Shui
perspective. I know little about Feng Shui and religions. Any sug |
