prior art searching 和technical document review。

There are just very few positions in the bio and chem right now. So the firm
can
be extremely picky hiring people in those fields. My former firm get rid of
anybody who did not have three year law firm experience in the first round
resume selection. It is just tough time for your major right now and it is
unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.

13 | 5 Thank you for the insider's information. I understand this is a tough market
and have prepared for it. There are still newbies getting into the field,
right? I don't want to give it all up so easily after looking for a position
for nearly two years and just wonder if there are some tips and experience
from more experienced agents/attorneys.

D******D 发帖数: 1022 | 6 There are no real tricks to get positions, like I said there are just not
many openings in your field. After two years searching, you should know
better than anyone else.
And I think you simply have two choices if you still want to break into the
law. First, just keep looking hopefully some firm will hire you. Second,
gamble your money on law school, hopefully with good school and JD you can
get intern and full time job.

For sure. Does that mean you can get those positions? Do you really know
those newbies' background? I remembered there is a lucky bastard here, who
got offers from multiple prestigious firms simply because his Ph.D boss is a
good friend with a managing partner of a top firm. So other persons'
successful stories really have no impact what so ever on yourself. Well, at
least that is my opinion.

L**P 发帖数: 3792 | 8 Yes to your question: There are still newbies getting into the field, right?
But you can also flip the coin to see the other side:
There are far too many newbies who CANNOT get into the field, right?
So, others' stories do not really help you unless you know exactly what
their strengths are.
Finally, if you want to gamble on a JD, better to gamble only on top JD. A
non-top JD will not help you by statistics.
