犯，就写了一封申诉信请求减免，结果让我出庭(10天后的pre-trial conference, 一
个月后的court trial)，我不知道应不应该去，毕竟要花很多时间和精力。不知可否认

倒霉。这个不是犯罪，只是交通违规，没有“案底”，对找工作绿卡都没有影响。
这个不是什么专业意见。只是本人个人经验。看看你周围的中国人，有几个没吃过超速罚单？哪一个就
有了案底对以后产生了巨大影响？ | e****e

This matter will not be adjourned by the court except upon formal motion for
good cause or with the specific approval of the court upon stipulation by

倒是没有其它charge，不知道如果我不回应，罚款会不会增加，还是default就是$200

发帖数: 461 | 4 "appearance is required" means if you don't go, you'll lose the opportunity
to contest and accordingly, need to pay the $200 fine imposed.
if you make the trip, they may lower the fine. but it may not be worth your
time and trouble. if you don't want to go, just call that court which
requires you to appear, and ask them if you can just pay the ticket off to
obviate the court appearance. if you just don't show up without telling
them beforehand, they may charge you extra processing fees or cour |
