我们刚有了宝宝，我自己因为老板离开，我呆在原地等毕业，所以终止了奖学金，

也不是新鲜事,大多数律所都不扩招了.少数招人的律所比往常更挑剔,工作经验一般是
必需的.
中小型律所目前形势比biglaw要好,不少地方local的IP boutiques倒是还招人.你们多看看那方面的消息. |

'00-'02), they laid off a huge number of examiners. Their policy, as many
federal agencies, was last in first out.

发帖数: 298 | 6 Per my knowledge, during the downturn from 89-93, USPTO laid off people.
I was not aware that they laid off huge number of ppl from '00 to '02,
during which most IP law firms were largely spared.

发帖数: 122 | 7 during '00-'02, IP lit wasn't affected but prosecution was down. USPTO didn
't plan it well and was fooled by the boom so it expanded unwisely. when
the bubble burst they lad to let many examiners go. It wasn't so much the
recession itself; it was more USPTO's failure to plan ahead. |

发帖数: 44 | 8 I believe those laid off were trademark examiners/attorneys. About 1/3 of
them got laid off from what I heard. I don't believe there had been ever
any patent examiner layoffs, but firing frequently occurs. A friend of mine
who just started there still received the signing bonus the pto's been
offering for the past couple of years, seems like hiring will continue in
those areas with significant backlogs. |

position for biology. So my husband applied chemistry. However, they said
that my husband lacks some required classes.................................
.....sigh...
Also, my husband said that he wants to go to law school after I graduate and find a job. What do you think
about this?

is about three weeks. My baby now is only two month. But so many things
happen recently, I am a little bit desperate.... try to be not push.....:(
