computer science or sth like that, most schools he applied will offer
admission without hesitation. He is guaranteed a big job offer after law
school and as those schools hope, donoates big money after his graduation.
Understandably only H and Y can afford showing less enthusiam.
It's a no brainer that he should go UM, unless H or Y turn around.

He attended Bei3 Wai4, then transfered to UMD, got a B.A. degree and
a B.S. with double major in 3 years.

but does the undergrad degree alone in US really help?
he might know about lsat earlier, and start preparing for it earlier,
but there is no advantage in training, is there?
good english writing definitely helps the essay
but you can always pay $$ to ask professional people to edit it for ya

the only thing to beat him is a 170+ lsat
professional essay editing won't turn an idiot essay into a good one
but will boost a so-so one into an imressive one | l*********h
