that the landlord as well as workman has to enter your apartment.
Secondly, whatever written in the lease/contract, go to the landlord, point
fingers to him and yell at him. This is what people would do if this situati
on happens, regardless of what the lease said, and you will lose nothing by
your actions.
Finally, about the law stuff, I know nothing about it. You can check and see
what you can do.

true.
It must have been hard on your wife, and you. comfort.
The thing is that even if you get police, the landlord can still defend
himself that he was here to fix ... and he did leave after your wife screamed.
I don't see much chance there. Plus you're moving in a week, so ..if I were
you, I'd let it go and be extremely careful in the future.
When you move to new places, tell the landlord that nobody shall enter your
apt
