LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Commuters, plan accordingly – President Barack
Obama and presidential hopeful and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
will be in town this week for several fundraisers.
The president is scheduled to arrive at Los Angeles Internationalhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png Airport at 2:20 p.m. Thursday, just in time for the evening rush hour. Obama is expected to attend a pair of Democratic National Committee fundraisers – a roundtable discussion hosted by producer/director Chuck Lorre in Pacific Palisades and a reception/dinner at the Beverly Hills home of filmmaker Tyler Perry.
Motorists in the West Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades and Beverly Hills areas
can expect sporadic roadhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png closures as the president’s motorcade moves through the area. Obama typically gets to and from the airport via helicopter, but is still driven on city streets to reach his destination.
Obama is scheduled to spend the night in Southern California, then return to
LAX for an 11:40 a.m. Friday departure to San Francisco, where he will
attend more fundraisers and speak at the annual meeting of the U.S.
Conference of Mayors.
The traffic woes will likely continue with Clinton’s visit. She is expected
to attend a luncheon eventhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png at the home of Westfield Corp co-CEO Peter Lowy and his wife Janine; a late-afternoon event at the home of HBO executive Michael Lombardo and husband Sonny Ward; and an evening event at the home of actor Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer, according to Variety.

经济问题我不懂，也许减少管制、减税、减少福利会振兴经济，有可能；也许政府大规
模投资基本建设会振兴经济，也有可能；也许两者的混合，像电视里面Underwood那样
一边可以振兴经济，我不知道。这事情经济学家也无法达成一致，一般人没有时间去深
入考虑，没必要跟着党派形成自己的偏见。
