Time: James has private lessons at home in flute, chemistry, physics, math,
and biology each week. Chinese school is on Sunday. So he only has Saturday
free with no extra lessons to attend. He also has MathCounts and Science
Olympics club activities at school.
Our time: We let the tutors/mentors decide what to do with James. Our job is
to earn enough money to pay for his lessons.
James spends most of his "spare time" doodling. To support his interest in
this "hobby", we bought an Apple laptop, iPhone/iPod, and an electronic
drawing pad. So far he lost two of his iPhones and we decided to postpone
the purchase of the third one until the arrival of iPhone 5. So he ended up
having a $15 phone bought from Wal-mart for now.
James is not that athletic. My hope is that he would form a habit of long-
distance running when he grows older, just like what happened to me. I only wish
that he would be a healthy person. No realistic expectation for him to excel
in any sports. | L*****h 发帖数: 26 | 2 Poor kid. This is pathetic.
