manufacturing sunvisors, headrest, steering wheel,overhead console and
headliner to the automotive OEMs. Our location is in Redford, Michigan.
We are looking for expereienced quality engineers who currently is in U.S
and can work legally. Below is the our job description:
Function as a Primary Customer Liaison as directed by the QA Manager
ensuring that all customer – system requirements are met developing solid
relationships in line with corporate values
Effectively Monitor Customer PPM rating system and inputs minimizing
negative exposure
Conduct failure analysis on customer returned product to determine root
cause and corrective actions
Complete 8D report and work directly with customer to insure problems
are resolved and customer satisfaction is obtained.
Organize and complete PPAP requirements for new programs and for
engineering changes including customer specific run-at-rate requirements
according to customer guidelines and TS16949 Procedures
Track customer-specific corrective/preventive actions ensuring that all
customer expectations are met
Actively communicate quality standards to manufacturing teams
Maintain a clean and well organized work area
Follow the TS16949 system requirements procedures and play active role
in continuously improving this system including timely response to audit non
-conformances
Assist in the development and revisions of PFMEA’s, Control Plans,
Instructions and any other Pre-Production Planning (APQP) documentation as
required Assist Manufacturing and Process Engineering in trouble-shooting
issues as required
Perform an other tasks and system improvements as directed while also
attending all training and education workshops, classes or seminars as
required
Quality Engineer Requirements:
Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent
Experience in dealing with customers
Knowledge in blueprints, gauging and specification test requirements
Knowledge in 8D report, root cause and corrective action
Knowledge and experience in TS16949, PPAP, APQP, SPC and Problem Solving
Microsoft Office proficiency expected
Quality working experience in the automotive industry is plus
