My name is Doug and I'm an IT recruiter at First Tek Native. Our records
show that you are an experienced IT professional. This experience is
relevant to one of my current openings located in New York, NY.
We are currently sourcing for an IT professional with the following
responsibilities:
Experience Level: (7+ years). Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and
repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents,
maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and
maintains user account information including rights, security and systems
groups. May require degree in a related area or 7+ years of experience in
the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields
concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to
plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead
and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or
manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Specific Skills and requirements:
On Site at trading floor starting 6 AM daily
Master at Microsoft Office Suite 2003/2010
High Level Experience with Excel 2003 &2010 and Excel Comm Add-ins and VBA
Code.
Excellent Communication skills
Ability to prioritize work
Experience with real-time data and real-time applications (i.e. Bloomberg,
Reuters, ICE)
Basic Linux/Unix experience.
