Work at the Bio5 Oro Valley, AZ. Experience with electrophysiological assays
is required. Priority will be given to candidates with extensive experience
in small molecule drug screening using patch clamp and voltage clamp assays.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Perform ion channel recording.
*Perform drug screening using two-electrode voltage clamp assays.
*Develop antiviral assays.
*Large scale protein expression, purification, and characterizations.
*Collaborate in the initiation of research proposals.
Additional Minimum Qualifications
*Ph.D. in biochemistry or biomedical-related fields.
*Possess biochemical techniques, including cloning, protein expression,
purification, gel electrophoresis, and molecular imaging.
*At least three years of postdoc or industry experience in collaborative
drug discovery projects.
Preferred Qualifications
*Experience in handling viruses is preferred.
