Hi, All,
It’s me again. We are happy to have a new open position. I posted hires
before and we did hire two nice Chinese colleagues from my posts. I hope we
have good luck here again. I also hope you the best luck. Please feel free
to forward it to your colleagues/friends.
Here are the job descriptions: Mechanical Engineer position in a top oil
field service company.
1. Develop new concepts on PDC bit cutting element or other down hole
tools.
2. Conduct mechanical designs using 3-D modeling software such as Pro-E,
etc.
3. Run stress analysis to optimize the designs using ABAQUS, ANSYS, etc.
4. Generate prototype production drawings, evaluate prototype in lab and
field.
5. Optimize the concepts and prototype for commercialization.
6. Continue failure analysis on tools in the field for further
improvement.
7. Work with vendors, Manufacturing and other functional groups to
shorten the new development cycle time.
8. Write technical reports on the new development.
Here is the preferred education background:
1. MS. Or Ph D in mechanical engineering is desirable.
2. Skills with Solid mechanics is a plus.
