**Role
Our image science group is responsible for image processing software for
product development and R&D; support. We are dedicated to addressing real
problems from the end user’s perspective and producing superior products
with the best image quality.**
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•
Design and implement sophisticated image processing software for Hologic
products.**
•
Technical responsibility includes specification, design, development,
optimization, debugging, and verification and validation documentation**
•
Design & optimize advanced image processing algorithms for GPU using the
CUDA architecture**
•
Support Clinical/Regulatory studies with image processing and preparation
tools**
•
Investigate & evaluate existing technologies to improve performance**
•
Responsible for Code maintenance**
Qualifications

Proficiency at C++ programming & object-oriented architecture design in a
Windows environment**
•
Strong working knowledge & experience with the CUDA framework/technology,
and parallel programing.**
•
Good communication skills**
•
Experience in medical imaging, DICOM, and image reconstruction is a plus**
•
Experience with MATLAB/IDL is a plus**
Education
•Masters in Software Engineering or Science**
Experience
