Job Details:
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the
Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, Email Routing (
SNMP), etc.)
• Design, Architect and implement new DHCP systems, switches,
Dashing etc
• Design, setup and configure complex switching environments and
wireless networking
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking
• Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service
providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical
assistance and support
• Supervising the administration of systems and servers related
network to ensure availability of systems and services to authorized users
• Installs, configures and maintains network devices including
routers, switches, virtualization, NAS/SAS and load balancers
• Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software
applications, wireless and security systems to resolve operational issues
and restore services.
Requirements:
• Hands-on installing and managing network equipments (Ethernet
Switches, Routers, Virtualization units, NAS/SAS systems, etc)
• Have experience utilizing monitoring and remote management
softwares (e.g. Zenoss, webmin, VNC, monit).
• Networking (DNS, WINS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Data Center, Routers,
Cabling)
• Linux, Windows systems administration, with skills related to
monitoring, patch management, up-gradation, backup/restore skills
• Enterprise systems/servers implementation and administration
experience in Linux and Windows servers in virtual and cloud based
environment
• Extensive understanding of a broad range of information
technology, including networking, servers and client deployment, including
mobility devices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required to resolve
complex issues
• Knowledge of one or more hardware platforms, including: iSeries,
Wintel and Unix based server platforms
• Understanding of change management techniques, tools, and stages
of the project's full life cycle
• Knowledge in Scripting (Shell, Powershell, Python, Ruby & Perl)
• Experience of Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery process
& tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing
environment.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be a team player with superb interpersonal skills.
