A technology company is seeking a full-time Principal Scientist / Engineer
that will serve as a key member of the technical team and be responsible for
driving our printed TFT back-plane thrust. We are innovating next-
generation printed TFT back-plate for various display applications. The
successful candidate will be a hands-on scientist and engineer. The
successful candidate will require undertaking TFT back-plane device/process
design, printing fabrication, and device electronic/material
characterization. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating
collaborations with major California University industry collaborators.
Responsibilities:
* Design layout of TFT device, TFT circuit, TFT backplane process
integration, LTPS backplanes.
* Optimize Active Matrix backplane design.
* Assist fabricating and testing Active Matrix backplanes.
* Develop algorithm for pixel rendering, color gamut mapping, color
performance, uniformity & calibration, power optimization.
* Research, prototype, design, and implement new test solutions for lab and
manufactureing.
* Troubleshooting, debugging, testing of lab equipment in lab and
manufacturing.
Requirements:
* Candidates must have a PhD in Engineering or Science with direct and ample
experience working with thin-film transistor back-plane technology.
* Excellent communication and listening skills is a must.
