organized student looking for experience in the field of health research.
The intern will work on NIH-funded projects by participating in the
development and maintenance of web-based health educational programs and
online communities, survey design, qualitative research design and
implementation (focus groups and in-depth interviews).
TASKS INCLUDE:
• Proofread and edit outgoing communications and other documents
• Translate materials from English to Chinese and vice versa
• Researching websites
• Focus group protocol design and content analysis
• General project duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
• Fully bilingual (in written and oral English/Chinese)
• Current graduate or undergraduate student; preferably in one of the
following areas: public health, sociology, psychology, social work.
• Ability to work 8 to 15 hours per week
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Interests in the aging field, especially Alzheimer’s diseases and
related dementia;

Health to commercial applications. Our core strength lays in the development
of gerontechnology - using the latest technology to translate scientific
knowledge into innovative e-health tools for elderly populations and their

education and training for health care professionals, as well as to meet the
psychosocial needs of older adults and their families. Our current work is
focused on geriatric behavioral health, minority health, and global aging.
