Polycrystalline Diamond Compact (PDC) cutter/insert for oil & gas industries
. The sales engineer will work with existing/prospective SFD US customers
and internal SFD groups on sales of SF Diamond products and services.
Detailed description is shown below:
Position: Sales engineer
Location: Houston TX; domestic and international travel will be part of this
job
Key Responsibility:
• Confer with customers and engineers to assess new product/service
needs.
• Collect marketing/products information for internal manufacturing
/marketing team.
• Understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products
or services to customers and prospective customers.
• Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
• Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
• Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing
how changes will lower costs or increase production.
Qualifications:
• Legal working permit in US is a must.
• A bachelor’s degree on business, materials science, mechanical
engineering, or related major. 5 years’ experience on engineering or sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both
English and Chinese.
• Willingness to travel and devote long hours to challenging sales
projects.
• Working experience in the oil & gas industry is a preferred.
• Experience in customer relationship management is a plus.
• Successful experience in driving innovation to increase sales.
• Excellent social skills.
