Description
Position: Staff Engineer – Machine Learning
Description：
We are looking for a machine learning engineer who can formulate problems
and solutions from real-world scenarios, and conduct research, implement and
benchmark algorithms. Our topics of investigation include modern deep
neural network architectures, predictive modeling, and deep reinforcement
learning with application to core Huawei business.
Responsibilities ：
Identify key opportunities to apply modern machine learning in Huawei
business such as mobile network planning and optimization; initiate new high
-impact projects
Carry out research and development projects, including key solution and
algorithm design and verification
Monitor technology and industrial trends; propose technology strategy and
roadmap to support the decision making of executives
Requirements ：
PhD in computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, operations
research, applied mathematics, or related quantitative discipline
Rich knowledge and solid experiences in machine learning, especially deep
learning and deep reinforcement learning. Solid experience in solving real
world problems
Hands-on experience in coding and proficient in at least one programming
language, such as Python, C++, Java, Julia, Lua, etc
Expert in at least one of the deep learning platform such as Tensor flow,
Torch, MXNet, etc
Knowledge in mobile communication systems is a plus
Strong communication skills and a team player
Must have authorization to work in US
