Manager 职位,8 月份亚麻 recruiter 开始联系我。整个感觉就是慢。Recruiter 的
email 我都是秒回。但对方就通常等两三个礼拜再回。
头两次是电面,对方都是 manager,应该是 peer。然后 recruiter 约 onsite。
Onsite 面七轮:五个 manager,一个 HR,一个 director。每轮一小时,共七小时。
感觉非常不 organized。有许多 last minute changes(临时换人),然后其他组员又
不知道。在面试过程中,又有人撞进会议室,说他订了这个房间。
Director 就是临时替换上阵的,还跟我抱歉说没什么准备。两轮电面和七轮 onsite
全都是 behavioral questions,而且基本重复。所以答案基本也一样。不知道这样做
有什么意义。而且许多人是面无表情地照本宣科,然后面无表情地在电脑上打字记录。
感觉往后可以由 AI 来做面试了。
自己是25年工作经验,目前职位是在大电信公司 Professional Services Manager。这
次亚麻面试,感觉难度不是很大。三天后被拒,而且特别声明没有 feedback。
觉得亚麻目前得势,有点高高在上的感觉。反正大把人争着进去,它也不 care 什么人
文关怀。
也许是自我安慰。西雅图阴雨天,感觉不是很好。房价也涨得很疯。因此也不觉得特别
可惜。还是感谢亚麻给我 onsite 机会,让我见识这种独特的面试方式。只是不给
feedback 有点美中不足。

听说,如果对亚麻家的culture不是很清楚,特别是那个Leadership principle和亚麻
的面试风格,面试不会很顺利。

我以前面亚麻的感觉就是一陀翔在搅动(不是什么OA video,正经1v1的onsite面试)
。面完第一感觉就是后悔浪费了一天在亚麻上,基本没起到练手用途,还浪费精力。

那能不能推荐几个可以达到增强内功的onsite公司名称?除了FGUA?

I heard that they don't like to hear the same answers even if the questions
are the same but from different interviewers. They like you to give any many
example as possible to answer the questions.
That is their interview style, they emphasize on STAR methodology.

Thank you very much. It's very difficult to give so many different stories
considering there were 9 interviewers asking about the same set of questions.

I aglee,
for some hard algorithm test, there is only one great solution on the web
site.
if you use that solution, they said you cheat, if you use your own poorer
way,they said it is less effectively.
I guess they just do not want to hire u on the spot you onsite.

不是,这个说的是BEHAVIOR QUESTIONS。 不是技术的问题。
他们家比较重视讲故事。
