Job description:
EDA software engineer will develop core algorithms for the new generation
Synopsys Physical design tools. This includes design, implementation,
debugging, testing and documentation of new technologies for hierarchical
floor planning and floorpan optimization, with focus on algorithm analysis,
runtime and memory utilization.
Requirements:
BS/MS/PhD in EE/CE/CS/Physics with 2+ years of experience in working on
software development. Excellent problem solving skills and strong desire to
learn and develop new technologies. The candidate should have strong C/C++
programming and UNIX/Linux skills, and a solid background in data structure
and algorithms. Familiarity with TCL and other scripting language is
recommended. Prior knowledge and experience with EDA tools and Verilog is a
plus. Must work well as a team contributor.
