具体职位和要求如下:
Staff/Senior Staff Firmware Engineer:
Responsibilities:
Support customer FW fixes and releases and root cause failures during
product validation, customer qualification, manufacturing test process and
field returns.
Analyze, debug, and resolve firmware issues observed at any stage of product
life cycle.
Collaborate with core development teams, FA teams as well as test and
validations teams to debug FW issues and apply patches.
Work closely with Front End and FTL FW development teams on customer FW
debug, fixes and releases for sustaining products and/or new products during
qualification cycles.
Small amount of travel may require for debugging at customer sight or any
other SanDisk location
Some project management activities like tracking issues or FW builds/
releases, bug scrubbing, etc. may be required.
Experience/Background:
BS in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with
minimum 5 years or a MS Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or
Computer Science with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software or
firmware is required.
Strong experience in C/C++ for embedded systems is required.
Hands on experience with Firmware and System debug tools such as UART/JTAG/
ICE debuggers, protocol analyzers, etc. is highly desired.
FW/driver experience with standard flash storage technologies such as SATA/
SAS/FTL is highly desired
Experience with low level NAND flash firmware debug and development is
preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills are required.
Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams within or outside United
States.
Ability to work and co-ordinate with internal and external customers
Motivated to work in dynamic, fast paced and customer facing environment.
Open to small amount of domestic and/or international travel if needed.
Staff Test Engineer:
Responsible for designing and developing tests for Firmware validation of
Enterprise SSD products. Activity will include developing test strategies
for ensuring validation of high quality Firmware functionality. Requires
close interaction with Firmware developers to gain understanding of Firmware
operation to guide test design, and for aligned development planning and
test integration.
Skills/Experience: Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years
of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to
achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and
self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with
people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and
outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written
and verbal) and interpersonal skills. | t**r
