Location: Shanghai
Compensation: Competitive base salary, with possible equity/profit sharing
Responsibilities:
--------------------
- In charge of sales/marketing in mainland China, including:
* Serving as public face of the company in China
* Giving conference presentations
* Preparing marketing materials
* Explaining technical details of quantitative strategies
* Conducting due diligence process with various sales channels, e.g.
banks, trusts, institutions
* Negotiating terms and fees for investments
- In charge of China business development. Work with US-based senior
management to develop:
* New business and investment strategies
* New business relationships and partners
- In charge of daily operations and workflow
* Ensure trading and research staff have adequate resources and clear
sense of direction
* Legal and accounting (both in-house and outsourced)
Requirements:
------------------
- Masters or Ph.D. degree in science/math, engineering or technical field
- Overseas educational or work experience
- Minimum 3-to-5 years experience in finance or securities-related field.
- Minimum 3-years leadership experience in managing a team/group
- Strong project management skills: setting goals, timelines and budgets
- Strong written and public-speaking communication skills (native Chinese,
fluent English writing/speaking)
